Does Software Assurance protect me from price increases and save me money?

Yes! If software prices increase during the term of your Software Assurance subscription, you’re already covered. One year and multi-year subscription terms allow you to choose the degree of price protection that is right for your business, whilst saving money. Multi-year subscriptions may also help to simplify your budgeting.

What is the difference between a software update and a software upgrade?

A software update (also known as a Service Pack) enhances selected software features, whereas a software upgrade is an entirely new and improved version of your software. Service Packs are downloadable from the web, whilst software upgrades are provided in a hard format and sent directly to you.

I recently purchased a Sage solution for the first time. Do I need to subscribe separately to Software Assurance?

When you purchase a Sage solution for the first time, you also subscribe to one year of Software Assurance. At the end of that year, we will invite you to renew your Software Assurance subscription and continue protecting your investment.

How are my software updates provided?

We ship out generic CDs with your Sage Software on them. We also alert your Sage Solution Provider so that they are ready to assist you with the installation.
