ACT! by Sage 2008 is launched in Australia and NZ
Sydney, 31 August 2007 - Sage Business Solutions today announced the launch of ACT! by Sage 2008 (10.0) in Australia and New Zealand.
ACT! by Sage offers base-line contact management and customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities to individuals and small businesses. ACT! 2008 introduces improved search functionalities, enhanced administration capabilities and greater freedom of choice in deployment options. For example, in ACT! 2008 customers can now quickly access a complete history of customer interactions across the entire business via the ‘dashboard’ - a single, graphically represented view, easy to understand and digest.
Today’s launch marks the 20th anniversary of ACT! in the ANZ market, reinforcing demand for contact management solutions as well as the product’s position as the number one contact and customer relationship manager in the world with 2.5 million users.

The flagship feature in ACT! 2008 is the interactive dashboard, providing customers with a quick ‘pulse check’ of their business relationships. The graphical representation of customer interaction includes bar, pie and gauge charts with all key information in ACT! represented in a single view.
Designed for both on-premise and web deployment, ACT! 2008 also gives ANZ businesses increased flexibility and freedom to choose the deployment option that best suits their business. This gives sales and service professionals instant access to key contact and customer information along with the ability to manage and prioritise activities and track all contact related communications, increasing productivity.
ACT! 2008 will be available in three editions in Australia; ACT!, ACT! Premium and ACT! Premium for Web. The Premium editions offer additional benefits such as increased scalability and synchronisation designed to meet the needs of larger teams of networked users.
